What are the benefits of buying a used static caravan?
Buying a used static caravan is a cost effective way to enjoy holiday home ownership, often giving you a bigger or better located caravan for your budget. You see the exact caravan you are buying, usually already sited on a popular pitch and often sold fully furnished, so you can start using it straight away. With options like approved used checks and a warranty, you still get peace of mind, just without paying brand new prices.
Is there an age limit on used static caravans?
We have an age limit of 20 years from the year of manufacture for static caravans on our parks. When your caravan reaches this age, our team will carry out an inspection, and if it is structurally sound and well maintained, we may offer to extend its life on a rolling yearly basis. Any extension is at the discretion of the park manager and is not guaranteed.
Do used caravans for sale prices vary?
Holiday home prices can vary between parks and even between pitches on the same park, mainly due to location, outlook and on park facilities. Any price you see on our website applies to the park shown for that holiday home. In many cases we can relocate a caravan to a different park, but the price may change to reflect the new setting, demand and plot availability. Final pricing is confirmed by the park manager at the time of purchase.
What are the season lenghts at Lyons?
Our holiday park season lengths range from 7½ months through to a full 12 month season, depending on which park you choose. Some parks are open all year, including Christmas and New Year, so you can enjoy your holiday home in every season. If having year round access is important to you, our team can help you find the park that best matches your lifestyle and how often you would like to visit.
Can I live in my holiday home?
As our parks are holiday parks, holiday homes must be vacated for a short period each year to comply with local licensing rules, so they cannot be used as your main home. Closure dates and requirements can vary slightly between parks, so it is always best to check with your chosen park for the exact details.
